Jumping to old Logseq journals is not a thing?

I found myself wanting to review old journals lately. Logseq lets you jump to old journal pages using Ctrl+K, but as far as I can tell it doesn't let you jump within the scrolling journal view. If you jump back, you don't get the context of other journal entries around that one—instead you get the normal page view with backlinks at the bottom. This is somewhat frustrating for finding the earliest entry. I can probably write a query to find that, but it sounds like more trouble than I was hoping.
