(Minor spoilers for The Outer Wilds. It's great! Go play it!)

The alien writing system in The Outer Wilds is written in branches. These work like threads on Reddit, but they're written as spirals out from some central point, rather than arranged in linear order. Each reply is a new curl off of the last one.

What if an issue tracker worked like that? What if every new thought was its own thread that could be resolved separately from the main thing? I wonder.
